CHM04 Studying of Metal Complexes with Salicylic Acid

Abstract

Salicylic acid and cephalexin, two ligands, were combined with Mn(II), Co(II), and Zn(II) transition metals to create complexes. Using Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) and ultra violet UV-Vis spectral measurements, complicated characterization is investigated. Furthermore, measured are the melting points and magnetic susceptibilities.
