Abstract

In this work, metallic ions like Al3+, Zn2+, and Ba2+ were linked to the 8-hydroxyquinoline ligand to generate several organometallic complexes with highlighted features. Dimethylformamide (DMF) and dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO), two distinct solvents, were utilized to create the complexes' solutions.  The produced compounds' spectral properties in the UV, visible, and infrared regions as well as their physiochemical properties - such as melting point, electrical conductivity, solubility, gas chromatography, and mass spectrometry - were examined. Additionally, the impact of solvent type on these compounds' spectrum properties was identified. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for usage as laser dyes based on their spectrum and physiochemical properties.
